Proverbs 21:21 - “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.”

We invite you to visit our church and become a part of a spirit filled, loving congregation of God.  We are a church family of loving, caring, individuals who are filled with the love of God. We are focused on sharing the "Word of God" with others around us.  If you are looking for a church home and family, we invite you to visit and be a part of this spirit filled congregation!

Lakeview United Methodist Church has been recognized by United Methodist Communications (UMCom) as an official "Welcoming Congregation

Welcoming congregations are a selected group of United Methodist congregations nationwide that meet certain criteria, including welcoming newcomers and providing opportunities in discipleship. This program is a part of an effort by the Methodist Church's communications agency to use the public media to spread the news of Christ to the world. Using "Open hearts, open minds, open doors" as the theme of our denominational effort, we hope to connect with those searching for hope and help them connect with our Church family.

You can find out even more about our church by logging on to www.Find-A-Church.org. You will see that we are listed in red as a welcoming congregation church.

Our next Sunday church service schedule can be seen under the Info Center tab on this page.

Joplin Tornado Relief

Our Joplin Relief Team is planning another trip, but due to the overwhelming response from other churches, the next opportunity for us will be May, 2012.  If you are interested in going on our next rebuilding trip (3-7 days), contact Jason Hays or the church office and let them know which month would work best for you.  The church office can forward you an e-mail with more information.  Monetary donations continue to be accepted and will be used toward building supplies. We have begun a “Tornado Relief Fund” that those donations will go into.
